Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you should know before your appointment. If your question isn't here, feel free to message me directly.
After getting your tattoo, you'll receive a film from me that you'll wear for 4–8 hours or up to 3 days depending on the type (I'll give you exact instructions). Then gently clean the tattoo with lukewarm water and pH-neutral soap.
For the first 2 weeks: apply a thin layer of special tattoo aftercare cream 2–3 times daily. No scratching, no soaking (avoid bathtub, pool, sauna), no direct sunlight. Your tattoo will typically heal completely within 2–4 weeks.
Pain perception is very individual. Most people describe it as intense scratching or burning. Certain body areas like ribs, elbows or knuckles are more sensitive than forearm or thigh.
Generally speaking: the more muscle mass and the further from bones, the more comfortable it is. With my dotwork tattoos, many people actually find the process meditative. We can take breaks anytime – no pressure.
1. Request: You send me your idea through the booking form. I'll review everything and get back to you within 48 hours.
2. Design: Based on your brief, I'll create a custom design. You'll receive a preview and we'll refine the details together until everything is perfect.
3. Appointment: On the day of the appointment, we'll discuss everything once more, I'll position the stencil on your skin and then we begin. Plan for 2–6 hours depending on the size.
4. Aftercare: You'll receive detailed care instructions from me. If you have questions afterwards, I'm always available.
Every tattoo is unique – so there's no fixed price list. The price depends on size, level of detail, placement and time required.
After you send me your idea, you'll receive a non-binding estimate. As a guideline: small motifs start from around €150, larger projects from around €350. For full-day sessions, I work with a day rate.
Before: Get good sleep, eat and drink enough. No alcohol 24 hours before (thins the blood). No sunburn on the area to be tattooed. Shave the area (or I'll do it on-site).
Bring: Comfortable clothing that provides good access to the area. Snacks and drinks for longer sessions. Headphones for music/podcasts if you like. Good vibes.
Important: If you're sick, taking medications or pregnant – please let me know beforehand.
Of course, life happens. Please let me know at least 48 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel. This way I can give the appointment to someone else.
For short-notice cancellations under 48 hours without valid reason, I reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee, as I've already prepared the design and blocked the time. But don't worry – we'll always find a fair solution.
